Dig The New Breed: The Puggle

pugglepic1.jpg

Puggles are a newer breed of hybrid dogs. These smaller sized bundles of joy are a mix between a beagle and a pug, hence the name. They usually stand 13 to 15 inches in height and weigh in between 15 to 30 lbs. The first thing you may notice about these designer dogs is the deeply wrinkled forehead with the long droopy ears. Puggles have a thicker body with a short but shiny coat. They come in a variety of colors although second generation puggles tend to go to a more white and tan or tan and black color. These curly tailed cuties are very energetic, curious and social. These guys love to play. Due to them having a touch of hound to them they may howl. Please keep in mind that they are not hypoallergenic
