North Texas Chow Chow Breeders

You’ll never guess how many dog-crazy fanatics roam our planet and I’m not just talking about the owners that actually dress up their dogs and let them wear makeup.

I mean the serious types. The very, VERY serious types.

For instance, did you know that there’s an extreme following on Chow Chows in the planet? I mean, browse the web and you’ll see there are poorly created websites dedicated to announce the beauty of this lion-faced breed.

Believed to originate in the Arctic lands then moving to the different parts of the Orient, this revered pet could be spotted in various ancient sculptures dating back to China’s Han Dynasty. The breed is said to have emperor-like tendencies that it could actually act as your master if you don’t train him properly. Socialization is the biggest problem of the breed, as it tends to be territorial. However, it behaves well with the proper tutelage from their masters.

The North Texas Chow Chow Club Incorporated is one of the many organizations spawned for the breed. The NTCCI’s main objective is to raise awareness to the breed they adore the most. It is not profit-oriented, and it doesn’t look to compete against other organizations.

Click here, http://www.geocities.com/heartland/prairie/2563/, to find a Chow Chow picture fitted in the right side of the Texas state as the rest of the logo has the Texas flag engulfed. I understand that perhaps the organization is based around middle-aged people but the logo hardly attracts attention. Anyway, every month the members meet, greet, and let their pets meet and perhaps mate with other Chows to expand the breed to the fullest.

The dogs not only give their masters happiness, but with the organization, they get the chance to meet people who share the same love for the Chow.
