Do-g You Really Care?
By Jo on Nov 5, 2007 in Dogs, pet stores
There’s been a lot of talk about puppy mills – buying dog for pet at a dog pet store. Despite the controversy about this issue, yet dog pet stores does continue to have dogs for sale on their store. And pet owners still buy dog at a dog pet store. Any pet store should only sell pet supplies and not the pet itself. Despite the growing numbers of household who have pets, yet there is only little awareness regarding buying dog at a dog pet store. Breeders continue to breed dog and put them on sale. There are countries that strictly prohibit this kind of activity in a pet store, especially Canada, but they are only few.
Buying adog pet from a pet store is not encourage because dogs bought from a dog pet store are not really healthy, even if the pet store staff say it is, (what’s a little talk for money?). Some dog pet store do not care about the health of the dog, if it has a disease, if it was spayed or neutered just getting sales. It is actually putting you the pet owner, and your family to risk. The big part for this to be stop is for pet owners to stop buying pet from pet stores, adoption is much better and many animal care center are encouraging it. If no one will buy pet in the pet store, for sure this pet stores will stop doing it. If a dog pet store really cares for the welfare of their dogs, then they should not do it. This should be an important thing that pet owners should see, not to buy anything from pet stores that are doing this. Do-g you really care?
